Service Adventure #1: Ramen Nagi
6:15 AM
Ramen Nagi - Gourmet Ramen now in Manila :)
After a tiring day of being in a
seminar/convention (MadWorld2015 of PJMA) my friends and I decided to grab something to eat. Since we're already inside a mall, we finally decided to try Ramen Nagi.
The restaurant was pretty
packed then since it was dinner time but fortunately, somebody just finished
eating and left so the receptionist immediately found us a table. The waiters were
pretty attentive, guiding us starting from the ordering process up to the billing.
They gave us suggestions on what are their best sellers and what side dishes are
good. They were also kind enough to have our pictures taken and joked with us.
| Hearty Butao-based Ramen |
| Special Gyoza |
I ordered a ramen with Butao (pork broth), cabbage and pork belly. Ordering has its Do-It-Yourself touch to it --you can decide on what broth base you want, the firmness of the noodles and what add-ins would you like to put in your noodle soup. The ramen is served in big bowls and generous servings. They can also be shared. Their Gyoza also tasted good.
Pros:
Good taste, attentive waiters,
big servings.
Cons:
Cramped space, quite expensive.
If I were to rate it, I'd give it a 3.5 out 5 score. I haven't checked out other branches yet but I found the Mall of Asia branch quite tiny. Also, we were taken aback by the service charge. I mean they provided a good service but I think it's too much since it wasn't a fine dining restaurant.
Til the next service adventure!
xx Ghine
