“Every one of us is entitled to answer the call, the call to love.
Studying in a Catholic University, one of the spiritual experiences we’ve undergone would be our 3rd year Manaoag Pilgrimage. It is when we go to The Shrine of the Mother of the Holy Rosary of Manaoag in Pangasinan to pray, reflect and ask for healing.
Since our call time is pretty early (5:30 am,) most of us barely slept. Upon arriving to school, we looked for our section’s designated bus and boarded. We’re lucky to be the first ones to do so for we get to pick our seats. Like the typical barkada, we sat at the back most part. An hour later, we finally moved and headed for the road.

The 3-hour trip was spent sleeping, eating and chatting. Upon reaching the highway though, we were asked to pray the rosary, followed by watching a documentary telling us about our destination.
Upon arriving, we went to this area where people light their candles. The line for the candles was long that time so we just went ahead to attend the novena and mass.

Lunch break was spent at the bus. The driver was nice enough to turn on the aircon because it was pretty hot that day. Around 1:30, we headed back to the church for the priest’s talk and to pray the rosary again. We also took this chance to take more pictures.

While on the way home, my blockmates and I did everything to entertain ourselves. It’s a good thing that our bus came with a videoke. To cut the story short, our bus became a party bus.

Overall, this trip was a wonderful experience. Definitely looking forward for more :)
