Cold Stone Creamery is an American-based ice cream parlor chain. Headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Summer is fast approaching and one way to beat the heat is to eat some ice cream. One ridiculously hot noon, my friends and I decided to head to SM San Lazaro for lunch because we like to treat ourselves sometimes. After lunch, we went to try out the newly opened Cold Stone Creamery branch located at the lower ground floor of the said Mall.

Cold Stone offers a do-it-yourself type of ordering. First, you pick the flavor of the ice cream base you want then pick what kind of toppings or bits you'd like to go with it. After that, they'd ask you what syrup you would want them to put in your ice cream. Lastly, you'd get to pick if you want a waffle cup/cone.
If you don't want to go over the DIY process, you can just choose from the premade "Signature Ice Cream" menu like I did. :)

Since I am a fan of the mint-chocolate combination, I went for their Mint Mint Chocolate Chocolate Chips signature ice cream. It is basically made of mint ice cream, chocolate chips & syrup + brownie & fudge. Upon taking our orders and our payment, their highly attentive and cheerful staff went to make our ice cream. Then here goes the twist: In order for you to get your ice cream, you have to catch it.

Pros:
Cheerful and attentive staff. Ice cream tastes good.

Cons:
Too Pricey.

Overall, I can say our experience was very good. I give it 4 out of 5 hearts.
