12:25 PMMe going to Tagaytay with my friends will be an overdue post, but the memories are still vivid from my memory.
Here's a rundown of what happened:
A long weekend came up in the middle of July, a month when I was drowning in a load of work (internship and school org). I needed a break, we all did. Semi-spontaneously, we planned a 3 day & 2 night trip to Tagaytay where my friend had a house.
We rode a bus, opting for an adventure (and because we were on a budget). I slept on the bus while my friends played cards. A few hours after, we arrived at my friend's house where we were welcomed warmly by his family. It took us a while to get settled.
After a hearty dinner, we killed time by laying around and playing video games. It was a little past 9 when my friend set up the videoke machine and we decided to drink. It started off pretty chill, then all too fast.
Day 2 started pretty late since it was already 4 am when we cleaned up and headed to bed the other night. Our breakfast was hearty, courtesy of my friend's mom. We decided to go out that day, visiting a mall by the ridge, hoping we can go shopping, but we couldn't find what we're looking for so we just got some pizza and did grocery shopping.
The night went pretty chill, we exchanged stories and learned more about each other.
We went back to Manila the next day, back to the busy life. But no, we were never the same.
